September 28th, 2010 at 12:10 amI love to article of clothing colour contact lens once in a while. It is a great way to change up your look and usually information technology is so subtle that most people don't know what is different about you. I like Freshlook lens and some of the Asian Angel Circle and Nudy brands. I haven't tried any of the costume lens still though.

September 28th, 2010 at iii:03 amI LOVE colored contacts. The but problem is when the clear pigsty in the center is smaller than your pupil and you go that fuzzy ring on the outside of your vision. But they expect astonishing and give your face up a whole new grapheme.

I've heard one time you lot try soft you tin't become back to hard, and I need difficult lenses to curb my deteriorating eyesight lest I go blind by age 30. I yet wanna try soft lenses one day so I tin can effort surfing… 😛

September 28th, 2010 at 5:34 amThe ones I've seen haven't looked natural and it tin be really distracting when y'all are talking to someone who is wearing them. If they improved the way they looked, information technology would be a dissimilar story.

September 28th, 2010 at 5:38 amI like them when they're enhancing an eye color, just mostly when people with chocolate-brown eyes wear blue or something, I can totally tell they're there. It really looks kinda creepy, like porcelain doll optics lol

September 28th, 2010 at five:41 amnay for me. Contacts non fitted properly tin scratch your cornea and make you lot blind, which sucks because i've always wanted brown eyes :\

September 28th, 2010 at half-dozen:34 amI accept to say YAY considering I had violet in High School and College. That's when they commencement came out and I thought they were crawly. I've subsequently see people that I met at that time and they've asked me if I was Now wearing green lenses because they idea my eyes were violet. I judge they looked pretty natural at the time and I was the only person I knew who had them, so no one I met questioned information technology. 🙂 I still love the idea, but contacts are a pain in the bum. I highly recommend laser eye surgery instead.

September 28th, 2010 at half-dozen:43 amI wear colored contacts every 24-hour interval. In seventh course, it was aquamarine at first but half mode through the year, they discontinued that colour so I switched to evergreen. 17 years later, I'g non sure I want to practise light amplification by stimulated emission of radiation eye surgery. Non but because you can't wear center make-up for 2 weeks later, only because I'd have to give up my eyes. I naturally accept blueish-green eyes simply I love the fact that they go totally green. Most people don't even notice anything un-natural unless the sun catches them a sure fashion. Even then, they still aren't certain since, plain, it goes with my complexion well.
Anyhow, I would totally endeavour outrageous colors for Halloween or the like just simply if they were available through my optometrist.
Although, I was in a musical in one case with someone that had cat eyes. It actually came across as somewhat subtle on her (don't enquire me how) only I never idea to enquire where she got them.

September 28th, 2010 at eight:46 amYay for Halloween, or for natural-looking ones — like if a envy gal picked up lightly-green-tinted contacts, or even if a grey-eyed gal wanted to go violet. But imo, NAU for circumvolve lenses (they just creep me out, and it's never a good idea to buy contacts online!) or iris changes (;ike when you go from brown to blue, which never looks natural…)
And then basically, yay if information technology's believable or if the wearer knows information technology isn't — nay if they look fake only the wearer isn't aware of it!

September 28th, 2010 at 9:26 amLike wigs and simulated nails – I say nay to colored contacts. Maybe for a wicked Halloween costume only I don't become people who vesture them on a regular footing. It just looks way too fake and a bit creepy.

September 28th, 2010 at 9:54 amNay… maybe for a costume they'd be cool. But, other than the whole possibility of injuring your heart (I'thousand such a klutz, I don't even habiliment normal contacts!), they're never disarming. It's so obvious when people wear them, that's it's pretty distracting to concur a chat… come up on, I know your eyes aren't really purple!

September 28th, 2010 at eleven:21 ami actually clothing colored contacts at least 5 days out of the calendar week. I have naturally dark brown eyes, and when i asked my optometrist well-nigh colored contacts, she recommended i try gray. i thought it sounded kinda iffy, that it wouldn't await good. but once i tried them on, i was sold. the color is definitely unlike from my actual color, only they still look then natural! in fact, no i knows they're contacts unless i tell them! people always compliment me on my eye colour, thinking it'southward real! i was fifty-fifty runner up for "best eyes" in senior twelvemonth of high school! haha. i do concord that things like brilliant dejection and purples expect plain fake, and odd for constant everyday habiliment. once in a while, certain! a fun style to change up your wait, especially if you already wear contacts for corrective vision in the outset identify. as long every bit you lot're non trying to laissez passer them up as your real colour (in other words, LIE well-nigh your eye color) i remember it's fine. just colors similar greyness, hazel, even calorie-free golden browns look beautiful, and natural enough to vesture oftentimes in my opinion! =] I say YAY!

September 28th, 2010 at 11:44 amIf I could tolerate touching my optics in general, I would attempt colored contact lenses. Weird colors for special occasions for certain. Like pink, considering it's my favorite color.

September 28th, 2010 at 12:21 pmI recollect they're fun! I put on light brown ones once in awhile and my friend experiments with violet and light-green. I think they're a subtle deviation and well-nigh of the fourth dimension people can't tell she has them on.

September 28th, 2010 at 12:35 pmI would dear to wear colored contacts, but between my vision (it's the combo of nearsightedness and astigmatism that makes contacts really hard to observe in my prescription) and my allergies/sensitive eyes (very easily irritated), they really don't work well for me. I'd also honey to endeavor circle contacts, but same problems. No purple eyes for me. =(

September 28th, 2010 at 1:33 pmIt depends… if they're natural looking. I accept blueish eyes, so I tin get away with bluish contacts. I vesture non-tinted lenses daily, which, in some ways, helps with eye makeup application, as I'grand never afraid to touch on my eye (for lining of the tightline, etc.) and more precise looks with liner.

September 28th, 2010 at one:52 pmUnless they're prescribed, heck no.
But there'south that neverending fear that I won't be able to take the contact out or information technology scratches my retina… or cornea… ughh!
I'k sort of like Rachel from Friends when she needs to utilise eyedrops for an eye infection!

September 28th, 2010 at 2:56 pmI get a lot of heat on this, merely I clothing colored contacts almost every day. I have to clothing contacts because I'm basically blind, and I generally opt for my Freshlook lenses (greyness, beloved, or amethyst). They just brand my optics pop. I don't know if they look natural, as I'm Asian and greyness or amethyst-colored optics aren't the typical iris color, they aren't totally unnatural to the point where it's distracting. I love them.

September 28th, 2010 at 3:05 pmI wear contacts regularly, so I have no issues putting them in my eyes, but they simply look fake to me. If I see someone with imperial irises, the first matter that pops into my head is how odd it looks. It's distracting. I used to want something more than exotic, similar dark-green or blue eyes, but I have brownish eyes that look good in whatsoever colour, and so I have no need to effort anything else 😉

September 28th, 2010 at 3:35 pmUnless they look super unreal besides those fantasy like ones for play or halloween. I would say no if information technology's looks really fake. But I wanted to try a shade lighter than my ain like hazel light-green or geo lenses. Sometimes I see people mostly teens with bright grey or purple when it simply looks silly! Some tin pull it off.

September 28th, 2010 at viii:52 pmI wouldn't desire to wear these, I already love my gray optics. My girl from work wants us all to get colored contacts for Halloween since the entire bar staff is gonna be X-Men, my bosses are even dressing upwardly as Storm and Professor X! It would exist fun, but I already article of clothing contacts because my eyesight is so poor. Where my daughter gets her's aren't prescription, and I'm not even sure they're safety per say.

September 28th, 2010 at 9:05 pmI don't like coloured contacts. I wore some grey/bluish ones in high school for prom (I take green/blueish eyes) and they simply looked and then fake. 😐 A good friend of mine wears them and I tin can ever see the bad-mannered, distinctive band around the outside where the colour ends.

September 28th, 2010 at 9:45 pmWhen I used to wear contacts I asked my optometrist to show me color-enhancing lenses. My eyes are a medium-tone light-green-dark-brown. The doc said (and showed me) that eyes in my tone are difficult to get a good color change result. Very nighttime eyes or very pale optics can have a dramatic color modify, but for medium-tone eyes the best result is a slight boost in the colour. The all-time result for me was a slightly greener eye.
Anyway, I had Lasik a few years ago, and would never get back to contacts. A few weeks without eye makeup is a small price to pay!

September 28th, 2010 at x:21 pmI don't similar them at all. They're similar pilus extensions:Â They all look super fake and nonetheless everyone who wears them swears that no i can tell. Newsflash: we can.
I am particularly saddened when I see my POC sisters wearing them. Blue/green/hazel/etc. contacts are just like skin "brightening" (i.e. whitening) creams. They are potentially chancy to our health and the only reason we apply them is because we've been socialized into believing that European features are more beautiful than our own.
Just say no to internalized racism and those awful, awful blueish contacts.

September 29th, 2010 at 2:21 amI like colored contacts, but they never looked that natural on me because I take brown eyes. I used to wear blue ones, but I know they looked fake! That was x years ago – maybe they are better now. The biggest problem is that they totally obscured my vision and made everything slightly blurry (I tried 2 or 3 different brands). The doctor said there was no way around it – that's how they work. So I gave up on them because I like to be able to run across as clearly as possible.

March 29th, 2022 at 4:thirteen amAs a contact lense wearer for the final 23 years! I believe you lot meant coloured contact lenses. Tinted contacts are the REALLY NATURAL option for me (the simply option actually). Coloured contacts, unless your eyes are calorie-free and/or the contacts are at least Solotica (or even better custom hand painted for you which cost at least 300euros) , are a waste matter of time if you don´t want to look like Lil Kim with holographic eyes…NO NO NO….now note Paris Hilton /wether you lot like her or not very few people know she actually has hazel eyes, not the baby dejection she´south been sporting forever. Yes she has brown optics, only wears very good contacts. It´south all about the quality if you lot´re going for a natural look. Acuvue 2 enhancers which accept been discontinued, or Focus Softcolors (also discontinued) where not bad options for those who wanted a subtle change, at present you can notice more expensive options like Biomedics 55 Development Colors or Weflex 55 Colours which are yearly lenses which price virtually 160euros the pair, but are done to your measure and won´t damage your eyes, a groovy way of enhancing your look with an elegant touch. Cheers
